I've named this set after the Beatles song which has the lines:

'And we all shine on,
Like the moon and the stars and the sun...'

which stuck in my head while I was making it because it's so very twinkly. The clear crystals really reflect the light as do the faceted glass teardrops. This set is a party all on its own!

Cerrillos is the name of a town in New Mexico where they still mine turquoise. I have been lucky enough to visit New Mexico and fall in love with the stunning array of turquoise and silver jewellery and that love of this stunning combination endures. Here I have teamed turquoise rondelles ceramic beads which have a coating of fine silver. The tubes are Sterling Silver as are the little disco balls which give the necklace a real twinkle.

This is a real statement set. The black agate beads have a pattern of circles on them, both on the teardrop shapes at the front and on the tube beads at the back. In between are round black agate beads and Sterling Silver beads which are mini-masterpieces in their own right.

Amazonite and Red Agate Nugget Sterling Set Metal: Sterling Silver Beads: Amazonite Red Agate Thai Hill Tribe Silver Bali Silver Size: 16" Code: SSAMRA £20.00

What a lovely combination of stones this is: Amazonite and Red Agate. The beads - which have a non-uniform nugget shape - are separated by Thai Hill Tribe Silver coils. As the stones are quite heavy, I have made the back of the necklace with some leather thong - and the fastening is on the side as it is so decorative. The earrings have been made with round red agate beads and faceted Amazonite rondelles, they measure 1.75 inches in total.
